Mindfulness for Anger Management

This course enables the participant to recognise the conditions necessary for anger to arise, learn a simple yet profoundly effective technique to assist is dissolving anger and aggression quickly and naturally, leaving the individual feeling empowered and peaceful.

When a situation arises that typically makes you angry and you feel an urge to either verbally threaten or hit someone, it is important to control these feelings. We try not to threaten or hurt people when we disagree with them. There is a simple way of quickly calming yourself.

Workshops consist of experiential learning, lectures and discussions which bring together the latest findings in the fields of consciousness studies, emotional intelligence and positive psychology with wisdom traditions that have been clearly shown to help transforming destructive emotions and obsessive thoughts. i.e. Mindfulness, Transcendental Meditation, Symran. Full day programme broken down in sessions consisting of short talks, practical guidance, discussion and support.

Mindfulness is learning to bring our awareness to internal and external experiences as they occur in the moment by using an anchor such as our breath. To be mindful is to be conscious on ones thoughts and emotions, therefore recognizing arousal states (such as anger) and their triggers.
