Mindfulness for Stress & Anxiety Management

Mindfulness based treatment has been proven to effectively reduce symptoms of anxiety and panic compared to almost any other types of treatment.

Anxiety disorders is a generic term that covers a whole range of fear based conditions including panic attacks, phobias, General anxiety disorder (GAD), Social anxiety disorder (SAD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Obsessive compulsive disorder OCD.

Anxiety disorders can be chronic and recurrent conditions, that are either present from an early age or can be triggered at some point in life through a triggering event. These disorders are prone to flare up during stressful periods. They are frequently accompanied by physiological symptoms such as sweating, dry mouth, headaches, palpitations, muscle spasms and high blood pressure (Hypertension), and can lead to feeling exhausted in some suffers.

Mindfulness based treatment has been proven to effectively reduce symptoms of anxiety and panic compared to almost any other types of treatment.

Life is always lived in the present moment, right here and right now, all that can be experienced is always in the Present moment. Mindfulness is learning to bring our awareness to internal and external experiences as they occur in the moment. Since most anxiety and fear based suffering results from fusion with thinking, and the sufferers get “caught up” with their emotional and mental states, mindfulness provides the most effective and safe method for treating anxiety disorders.
